It means exactly what it says.

When Cloudshift resolves, target beast you control is sent from the battleground to exile, and so is returned from exile to the battlefield.

Only information technology does do something. The creature is leaving and re-inbound the battlefield.

Information technology can relieve your creature from removal spells, similar Doom Blade.
Information technology can reuse 'enters the battlefield' triggered abilities.
Information technology tin can activate soulbond.
Information technology can exist used to 'reset' a creature by removing counters, Auras, and lingering effects.

It comes dorsum as though freshly cast. If it normally enters untapped, it'll be untapped (and unflipped, untransformed, and face).

And before the question comes upward because I know it volition, yeah, the creature will be affected by summoning sickness.

No and no.

The creature is returning to the battlefield due to an effect. You don't pay information technology's mana cost once more.

The creature is not beingness bandage. You can't kick it.

Again - information technology comes back as though freshly bandage. It loses any counters it had before, and comes back with whatsoever counters that information technology normally enters the battlefield with.

Yup. And it'due south removed from gainsay when you do so, so it won't deal or be dealt whatever damage (and neither volition the creature it blocked, unless information technology has trample).

if blinking a morph, does it count as turned face?

for example, would you destroy a target enchantment when blinking/flickering Daru Sanctifier?

N. It leaves the battlefield, then returns face up-upwards. It's never actually turned face-upwardly.
